At ERINISI we are focused on creating long-lasting high-quality pieces that are responsibly sourced and ethically produced. Our relationships with the artisans who manufacture our product is integral to the brand. This is why our swimwear is produced by skilled artisans who bring our designs to life with exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail at our family owned & operated atelier in England. We oversee every aspect of production from initial sampling to packing orders.
By telling you the story behind our production we hope to give you a greater appreciation and understanding on what it takes to create long-lasting quality pieces.

SUSTAINABILITY
Sustainable fashion is a complex topic, sometimes overwhelming and most of the time quite challenging. We are very humble when facing this challenge and certainly, we are far from perfect.
Instead, we are on a journey: taking one step at a time, always trying to improve our actions and find less impacting ways to create swim and resort wear styles for you to cherish in the years to come.
RESPONSIBILITY
Our high-quality Italian fabrics are sourced from a Green Company which optimises production processes by introducing cutting-edge technologies to monitor and reduce waste and polluting residuals.
We own and operate our atelier which allows us to produce as required with no minimum order quantities, which in return minimises waste and cancels mass production practices. Our atelier does not use water for production and recycles all plastic and paper waste.
ERINISI is committed to producing
swimwear consciously and ethically. Below are our key initiatives driving us toward long term sustainability in our garments and business practices.
We have adopted a made to order/ wait list/ small batch production business model to avoid over ordering, unnecessary waste and limit our environmental impact.
Sustainable Fabrics - Our fabric choices include ECONYL®, Carvico@ in Italy, and REPREVE®. These fabrics are eco-friendly and made from recycled materials, such as fishing nets, industrial plastic, and post-consumer plastic bottles. By using sustainable fabrics, we are reducing our carbon footprint and minimising the amount of waste that ends up in landfills and oceans.
All of our hardware trims are hypoallergenic. We only use the finest European nickel-free gold-plated accessories, that are heat, chlorine and salt water resistant, non-hazardous and environmentally friendly for long-term use.
All customer orders are packaged in a protective, reusable zip lock bag and FSC certified recyclable paper/ cardboard mailers.
All current packaging waste is taken to a recycling facility to ensure it is processed responsibly.
We are in the process of testing plastic free hygiene liners.
ONE TREE PLANTED
Together we can restore forests, create habitat for biodiversity and make positive social impact around the world. In 2024, ERINISI joined the non-profit organisation "One Tree Planted" - a global network of businesses, individuals and nonprofit organisations that have collectively planted over 40 million trees - for every order placed, one tree is planted.
PACKAGING
Packaging plays a vital role in our business. It ensures our products can be delivered to customers across the globe in perfect condition. Our packaging solutions are constantly being updated to ensure they meet our evolving standards. The packaging undergoes constant review due to its vital role and complexity. It is often being updated and optimised to find the most appropriate solution. Approaches to improvement include better labelling, recycled materials, and reduced usage. The aim is to enhance quality while minimising resource consumption and environmental impact, considering the wide range of customers, their locations, and recycling facilities. We use several types of packaging, which can be divided into two types: primary & secondary.
- The primary packaging has several functions including protecting, containing, preserving, and communicating the product. Currently, we use a robust, clear, reusable plastic pouch with resealable zip lock closure.
- The secondary packaging is the term for the packaging used to contain several items of the same product during transport and handling. We currently use paper bags and cardboard boxes from responsible sources.
FSC Certified Paper Mailer Bags
These mailer bags are used because of their capacity and flexibility. They are hard-wearing and water-resistant, without the need for any single use plastic. They are FSC certified and recyclable. Our mailers are manufactured in Sweden using green electricity. For every tree used the paper mill plants three more.
FSC Certified Recycled Cardboard Boxes
We have designed multiple sizes of boxes to fit the products inside. They are made from FSC certified, recycled paper. They are reusable and recyclable.
Paper Tape
The tape we use is responsibly sourced, fully recyclable, and biodegradable.
